Adult Ministry

There are many ways to get plugged into the life and ministries of Faith Lutheran Church!

Top of the Hill Gang

Top of the Hill Gang is for our active older members in the congregation. The Gang comes together for fellowship and frequently attends community events like concerts and plays.

Faith Formation

Faith Formation happens on Wednesday evenings during the Fall and Spring, and is an opportunity for us to gather as a community for worship and Biblical study. There is a specific Bible study for adults during this time led by one of the Pastors.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry is a ministry which seeks to equip people to care and nurture one another.

Via De Cristo & Reunion Groups

Via De Cristo is one of our Spirit filled retreat ministries. Frequently, groups who have gone through this retreat together will meet and support each other.

Spirituality Book Club

The Book club meets once a month and studies a popular text on spirituality.

Adult Forum

The Adult Forum meets on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in room 12. The forum is an opportunity for adults to gather and engage in lively and meaningful Biblical study.

Wild Women Retreat Ministry

Part of our life together includes Wild Women Retreat Ministries, hosted by Lutheridge in Arden, North Carolina. Every year women of all ages and walks of life from Faith Lutheran Church head to Lutheridge to engage in meaningful community and spiritual retreat time. If you would like to know more, please click here for the Lutheridge website

WELCA

WELCA stands for “Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.” Our WELCA circles are made up of women from all different ages and walks of life. We currently have four active circles, which gather for food, fellowship, and Biblical study.

Community Groups

We are also the home for various community groups such as Adult Basketball, Women for Sobriety, Sons of Norway, Scouts, and Alanon.
