Outreach Ministries

As the living body of Christ, we know that we are called to share the love and grace we have first received through Jesus. Because of this, we try to live out the message of the Gospel by sharing Jesus’ love with our neighbors. There are many ways to be involved in what God is doing in the midst of this community and around the world.

Human Trafficking

We will partner with the Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking (www.growfreetn.org) to unite and equip our community to help end modern day slavery while providing individual care through direct services programs. Contact Emily Norris or Sue Niemeyer.

Shepherd of Hope Food Pantry

Our local pantry housed out of Faith Lutheran Church which seeks to provide daily bread to equip people for life in Jesus' name. Contact Jan Darnell.

Knoxville Area Rescue Ministry

This Ministry, also referred to as KARM, seeks to provide food, shelter, spiritual support, and rehabilitation for our homeless and at risk brothers and sisters. Groups from Faith frequently go to serve food and form new relationships.

Salvation Army Men's Shelter

This group visits the men's shelter to distribute greatly needed items such as t-shirts, underwear, steel-toed work shoes, casual shoes (not athletic shoes) and seasonal items in addition to sharing snacks and fellowship with these men during their transition. Contact Sue Vanacore.
